"Noisemaker" sees a shift in sounds and textures toward melodic and upbeat tunes featuring a flurry of jazz/progressive flute grooves and densely constructed bubbling synths, layered flutes and overdriven electric dulcimers playfully entangled with disembodied voices taken from robo-calls.

"The album contains eleven tracks, most with a steady rhythmic groove, a generous helping of synthesizers and sound treatments and a copious amount of flute. It isn’t so much as catchy as it is hypnotic, as all the elements when taken as a whole create a transfixing listen. Whether it’s the percussion and flute backbone of “Waiting Out the Rain”, the bubbly synthesizer and wild dulcimer in the moody “Jigsaw Jargon”, or the razor-like bursts of sound in the intriguing “Baby Potatoes”, the album should provide plenty of interesting moments for those into a more experimental, world sound.

Crommie is a supreme talent and I urge everyone to check him out."
