about

The second of a quartet of albums that Echo System recorded, originally released in 1987 on cassette and now available for the first time digitally. This experimental work was a collaboration between Jamie Haggerty and Daniel Crommie utilizing a variety of synthesizers, sequencers and a Casio sampler. Recorded on a Tascam 4-track cassette Porta-studio utilizing DBX noise reduction and remixed in the mid-1990's to digital stereo, except for "Short Wave Radio", which was remixed in 2014. Includes two tracks not on the original cassette release; "Short Wave Radio (Dub Mix) appeared on a cassette EP, and "The Reflecting Pool" was part of the New Weave label cassette compilation "Octangle".
